Bullseye!!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Monday the Trump administration has a &#8220;high degree of confidence&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/5363949-iran-nuclear-sites-strikes-confidence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">about the impact<\/a> of Saturday&#8217;s &#8220;Operation Midnight Hammer&#8221; strike campaign.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are confident, yes, that Iran&#8217;s nuclear sites were completely and totally obliterated, as the president said in his address to the nation on Saturday night,&#8221; Leavitt told ABC News.<\/p>\n<p>Satellite imagery and international assessments have raised questions about the scope of damage to Iran&#8217;s nuclear capabilities, though.<\/p>\n<p>The United Nations-led nuclear watchdog said Monday the bombing likely caused &#8220;very significant&#8221; damage to Fordow but called for inspections to assess the full scope.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At this time, no one, including the IAEA, is in a position to have fully assessed the underground damage at Fordow,&#8221; International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Rafael Grossi said <a href=\"https:\/\/news.un.org\/en\/story\/2025\/06\/1164766\">in a statement<\/a>. &#8220;Given the explosive payload utilised and the extreme vibration-sensitive nature of centrifuges, very significant damage is expected to have occurred.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Iranian officials have been coyer with Tehran&#8217;s assessment of the impact.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/live\/cn7ze4vmk2pt?post=asset%3A94317b7e-0dd9-4a13-9bc4-59b93ab3b07c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BBC reported<\/a> that Hassan Abedini, deputy political director of Iran\u2019s state broadcaster, said during a broadcast that Iran had evacuated the site a &#8220;while ago&#8221; and Iran &#8220;didn&#8217;t suffer a major blow because the materials had already been taken out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Fordow site <a href=\"http:\/\/become a focal point in the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, as the U.S. weighs stepping in to help Israel topple Tehran\u2019s nuclear capabilities.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">became a focal point<\/a> of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran ahead of the U.S.&#8217;s surprise strike because the American military had the <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/policy\/defense\/5355443-trump-decision-bunker-busters-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">weaponry necessary<\/a> to strike the facility, which is buried in a mountain, while Israel did not.<\/p>\n<p>An analysis from the independent Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists based on the most recent IAEA report on Fordow&#8217;s enrichment program concluded Iran had enough centrifuges and uranium hexafluoride gas at the site to produce several nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Fordow is, therefore, a crucially important place if one attempts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons,&#8221;
