President Trump on Tuesday said \u201cwe\u201d have total control of the skies over Iran, amid questions over whether the president would authorize direct involvement in the escalating conflict Israel-Iran conflict.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn\u2019t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured \u2018stuff.\u2019 Nobody does it better than the good ol\u2019 USA,\u201d he said on Truth Social<\/a>.<\/p>\n The president\u2019s post comes as he faces a choice on how involved the U.S. should be in the war and amid discussions on an attack on the Fordow nuclear facility. An attack would require the involvement of the U.S. because B-2 bombers dropping bunker-busting bombs are the only way to destroy the capabilities of a plant hidden deep in an Iranian mountain.<\/p>\n The president said earlier Tuesday<\/a> he was seeking \u201ca real end\u201d to the conflict, stressing that he\u2019s \u201cnot looking for a ceasefire.\u201d The president also described what he was seeking as a \u201ccomplete give-up\u201d by Iran.<\/p>\n \u201cI think they know not to touch our troops,\u201d he said of Iran, warning the U.S. would be \u201cgloves off\u201d in its response.<\/p>\n Vice President Vance, who like Trump is known for wanting to keep the U.S. out of foreign wars, said in a statement on the social platform X<\/a> that the president has showed restraint so far in the conflict.<\/p>\n \u201cHe may decide he needs to take further action to end Iranian enrichment. That decision ultimately belongs to the president. And of course, people are right to be worried about foreign entanglement after the last 25 years of idiotic foreign policy,\u201d Vance said. \u201cBut I believe the president has earned some trust on this issue. And having seen this up close and personal, I can assure you that he is only interested in using the American military to accomplish the American people’s goals.
