{"id":735,"date":"2025-06-16T12:49:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T12:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.logicalware.net\/?p=735"},"modified":"2025-06-17T11:05:37","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T11:05:37","slug":"trump-organization-announces-new-trump-mobile-phone-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.logicalware.net\/index.php\/2025\/06\/16\/trump-organization-announces-new-trump-mobile-phone-service\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump Organization announces new \u2018Trump Mobile\u2019 phone service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Trump Organization announced Monday it is launching a new mobile phone business: Trump Mobile.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the latest new business the Trump Organization is getting into during President Trump\u2019s second term in the White House, a dynamic that has raised various ethical concerns from his critics.<\/p>\n<p>Donald Trump Jr., the president\u2019s oldest son, announced the new initiative along with his brother Eric Trump, on the 10th anniversary of their father\u2019s first announcing he was running for president, from Trump Tower in New York City.<\/p>\n<div class=\"nlp-ignore-block article-content rich-text\">\n<aside class=\"promo-link\">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/administration\/trump-the-next-100-days\/5352395-live-updates-trump-g7-canada-israel-iran-minnesota-shooting\/?ipid=promo-link-block1\" class=\"promo-link__link\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n\t\tLive updates: Trump criticizes Russia&#8217;s removal from G7\t<\/a><br \/>\n<\/aside>\n<\/div>\n<p>Trump Jr. said the business group felt the mobile phone industry was another era in which there had been \u201clackluster performance\u201d and in which there could be an opportunity to provide tech to an audience that is \u201cunderserved.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With Trump Mobile, Trump Jr. said \u201cwe\u2019re going to be introducing an entire package of products.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said at a press event that it would allow people to \u201cget telemedicine on their phones for one flat monthly fee, roadside assistance for their cars,\u201d and \u201cunlimited texting for 100 countries around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe think we\u2019re going to be giving something unique to the American people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The president&#8217;s children have taken control of his business entities through the Trump Organization during his White House tenure.<\/p>\n<p>While the traditional Trump family business has been focused on real estate and hotels, it has more recently become involved in several tech-related businesses, from the Truth Social platform, which is where President Trump\u2019s social media posts are initiated, to cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n<p>A release regarding Trump Mobile said it would offer 5G service through all three major cellular carriers. Its flagship offering is also linked to the president: The 47 Plan.<\/p>\n<p>It gives consumers the offerings of Trump Mobile for $47.45 per month, a price point that remarks on Trump\u2019s time as the nation\u2019s 45th and 47th president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrump Mobile is going to change the game, we\u2019re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service,\u201d Trump Jr. said in a press statement. \u201cOur company is based right here in the United States because we know it\u2019s what our customers want and deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The announcement also said the Trump Organization would be introducing a new \u201cTI Phone\u201d in August, describing it as a \u201csleek, gold smartphone engineered for performance and proudly designed and built in the United States for customers who expect the best from their mobile carrier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gold is, of course, President Trump\u2019s signature color.<\/p>\n<p>While Trump\u2019s children are running his business, the entry into the mobile business with distinct links to the White House is likely to come under criticism from those who consider his family to be excessively monetizing his time in office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Trump Organization announced Monday it is launching a new mobile phone business: Trump Mobile.
