President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., underscored Monday that his father is not involved with the Trump Organization’s new mobile phone business, Trump Mobile.

“My father’s not involved in any of these things,” Trump Jr. told “NewsNation Now,” adding, “Eric [Trump] and I, you know, we’re running the Trump Organization. We’re doing these things.”

The president’s sons, who have taken control of their father’s businesses during his time in the White House, unveiled the new mobile phone venture Monday, the 10th anniversary of Trump’s official entry into politics.

In homage to their father’s presidency and his penchant for gold, Trump Mobile plans to offer a $47 phone plan and gold smartphones.

The mobile phone service marks the latest in a string of new Trump family business ventures during Trump’s second term, raising concerns about how the president could personally benefit from his time in office.

Most notable has been the Trump family’s growing interest in the crypto sector.

Last fall, the president and his sons launched a crypto venture, World Liberty Financial, which has since unveiled a stablecoin. The digital token was used last month to complete a high-profile $2 billion transaction between an Emirati firm and the crypto exchange Binance.

Trump has earned about $57 million from World Liberty Financial, according to a financial disclosure released Friday.

When pressed about the president’s involvement in the company, Trump Jr. argued Monday that his father “has ownership but he doesn’t touch it.”

“That’s all walled off,” he said. “Eric and I are the signatories on that. We manage the trust. We don’t talk to him about it. He doesn’t get involved in that.”

Trump has also faced scrutiny over the meme coin he launched shortly before his inauguration. He held a dinner with the top investors in the $TRUMP token in May, who spent millions of dollars to secure spots at the exclusive event with the president.

Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company of Trump’s Truth Social platform, has also gotten in on the crypto craze, raising $2.5 billion to create a bitcoin reserve and taking steps toward launching a series of crypto-related assets.
