(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/entertainment-news\/tech-ceo-resigns-after-coldplay-video-goes-viral\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WFLA<\/a>) \u2014 The CEO of Astronomer, a New York-based tech company, resigned Saturday following speculation surrounding <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/in-the-know\/5408921-lawmakers-coldplay-concert-video\/\">a moment<\/a> caught on camera during a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts this week.<\/p>\n<p>A viral video showed a couple quickly hiding from the camera after being shown on the big screen at a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Coldplay front man Chris Martin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfla.com\/wp-admin\/post.php?post=2925854&amp;action=edit\">teased the two<\/a> after witnessing their reaction, saying: &#8220;Either they&#8217;re having an affair or they&#8217;re really shy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Not long after, rumors began to circulate, connecting the couple to the tech company.<\/p>\n<p>Astronomer first addressed the rumors Friday by releasing a statement on social media platform X, notifying that the CEO of their company, Andy Byron, had been placed on leave while an investigation was launched.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the company released <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/astronomerio\/status\/1946640685983224131\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a follow-up statement<\/a> announcing that Andy Byron had tendered his resignation and its board had accepted.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not.
