Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Sunday that the principles of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were \u201cpopular,\u201d but also said tech billionaire Elon Musk, formerly the leader of DOGE, \u201cwas not.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe announced this weekend that he is starting a new political party,\u201d CNN\u2019s Dana Bash said of Musk on \u201cState of the Union.\u201d \u201cDoes that worry the Trump administration?\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk said Saturday that he had officially created<\/a> the \u201cAmerica Party,\u201d separate from Republicans and Democrats.<\/p>\n \u201cBy a factor of 2 to 1, you want a new political party and you shall have it.
